The crowd, which numbered to 16,000 or more, was subject to two hours of non-stop Usher-entertainment with a torrent of music, choreography, wardrobe changes, videos and other visuals.

Usher’s arrival itself was grand, with the pop star landing on the stage from an airborne platform with an electric sign saying Vegas Strip. This was followed by some bungee-cord moves off a wall. The performer was ably supported by high-flying, nine-person dance team that changed costumes nearly as much as the star did.

Usher’s song list was dominated by songs from his latest album Raymond v. Raymond, which included ‘Monstar’, smash hit ‘OMG’ and some older songs like ‘Yeah’, ‘You Make Me Wanna’ and ‘U Remind Me.’

Usher’s performance was predictably attended by chiefly well dressed ladies. Usher gave the audience what they wanted including a few dozen flashes of his neon smile and several long peeks at his washboard abs. During one number, he brought one of those well-dressed ladies on stage, where she lay in a chaise lounge while he unleashed some PG-13 seduction moves upon her.

Though the performance was spectacular in terms of props and display, the music and sound was slightly off-kilter. But the audience seemed to enjoy watching the handsome pop icon jazz around on the stage with his characteristic style and debonair.
